Drag Me Off The Couch!

Sometimes I get lazy.  Lazy at tracking my points, too lazy to get off of the couch or I guess you could say I just get lazy on the WW plan all together.  After a great loss last week, I definitely got lazy this weekend.  I let myself splurge a couple days and ended up gaining weight over the weekend.  This has happened to me before, and when I do that I end up being very strict with myself for the few days before my weigh in.  Today is one of those days.  Tomorrow will be too.  In reality, I should always be watching my points and controlling myself, but sometimes I forget or get distracted. So now I am on top of things again and hopefully I can still lose some weight this week, if I am lucky.
I had a great weekend, catching up with old friends and spending time with Chaz.  Luckily, he suggested going for a little hike on the Appalachian Trail on Saturday, something I had never done or seen before.  So eventually I agreed and I am very glad I did. We went to a spot where, a few years ago, a bridge was built across the James river for hikers to safely make it across and continue on their journey.  Previous to the bridge being built, hikers were using the bridge for the highway traffic to get across which has no sidewalk or space for pedestrians. So we walked the trail for a while, not too far, but saw some really beautiful views of the river along the way.  We saw a few "real" hikers along the way and I wondered how far they had been on the trail. The Appalacian Trail stretches from Georgia to Maine, and is 2, 181 miles long.  Can you imagine hiking the whole thing?? Not this girl.  So that turned out to be some great exercise to get me moving and a fun experience also!
Here are a few snapshots of our expedition:

Have a great rest of your week!
Until Next Time...
